Principal's Welcome

My name is Mrs Vicky Ross, and I am proud and honoured to be the Principal of The Richmond Primary Academy.

On behalf of the pupils, staff, governors and Trust, I would like to extend a warm welcome to The Richmond Primary Academy. Our aim is to provide a world class education to ensure that all pupils leave us in Year 6 with the skills, confidence and self-belief to propel them into the next stage of their lives.

Over the next few months, you will see many changes in the way we deliver learning so that we provide a curriculum that is not only engaging and challenging, but offers a diverse range of learning opportunities and experiences. This will be underpinned by a strong emphasis on the development of our pupils’ social, emotional, spiritual and moral values, which will be intertwined throughout everyday learning.

We are immensely proud of our school and its community and warmly welcome visitors into the academy.   As we become more familiar with being a part of DRET, we will be able to offer our children the opportunity to develop their acting, dancing and sporting skills even further. As part of the David Ross Education Trust, our pupils will also experience meeting and working with elite athletes, writers and musicians.
